This book tells the story of John and Anna Maria (Rinn) Jungers and their children who immigrated from Altwies, Luxembourg, to the Town of Trenton, Washington County, Wisconsin in 1852. John and Anna Maria had seven children, six girls and one son. Their only son, John Jungers, Jr. died on the Atlantic during the family's voyage to America and was buried at sea. The Jungers daughters went on to establish themselves in Wisconsin. Their stories are also told in this book. The stories of Helen (Jungers) Scholl, Anna (Jungers) Schmitt, Margaret (Jungers) Becker, Mary (Jungers) Burmesch, Anna Jungers and Theresa (Jungers) Dreis.
