Reflection shifts 49mm (for 15mm sizes) or 75mm (for 25mm sizes) when incident rays hit the diagonal face. Aluminized TECHSPEC Dove Prisms, used in imaging systems (with fields of view less than A/C), allow viewing behind or around corners. They can also create a split image, with one scene displaced relative to the other.
