Inspired by the Black Butte Porter from Deschutes Brewing in Bend, Oregon, our Black Buttes Porter is a rich, dark brew with a roasted chocolate aroma and citrus hop notes. It features complex malt flavors, including smooth chocolate with subtle hints of coffee. The character of classic Northwestern citrusy hops balances beautifully, resulting in a crisp, clean finish on the palate that is neither too bitter nor astringent. This is a solid, easy-drinking beer that doesn't feel as heavy as you might expect.
