Super Mercury is an exoplanet with unique challenges. A family from planet Earth, a father, and three kids, land in Super Mercury and offer to help. Or so they thought. The earthly family ends up disrupting the exoplanet beyond imagination. This fiction story is short on words and rich in meanings. Parents can read it with their kids and use it to explore funny yet thought-provoking caricatures of politics, economics, employment, self-awareness, and how Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) impact our lives. Rana, the mother, digitized the sketches and painted them on the computer. Mayyar helped with the digital painting. The family debated the story plot and various details of the illustrations in readthroughs, on the road, during dinners, and pretty much anytime anywhere. Read more
