The Steinel 34850 HL 2010 E heat gun with LCD temperature display emits airstreams at 3.6, 10.6, or 17.6 cubic feet per minute (CFM) at temperatures ranging from 120 to 1,150 degrees F. The gun’s temperature setting can be changed in increments of ten degrees F over the full temperature range at the 10.6 and 17.6 CFM airflow stages, and is fixed at 120 degrees F at the 3.6 CFM cool air stage. Similar in shape to a hair dryer, the gun has an LCD that displays temperature settings in 10 degree increments and the actual output temperature when the gun is set to the cool air stage. Each coil in the heating element is encapsulated in ceramic to extend coil life and provide even heat.
