Standalone Library Globe, Late 19th to Early 20th Century by Antikeo

Vast globe crafted from papier-mâché and plaster, nestled in a wooden basket: continents adorn its spindles, a brass meridian encircles it, and the hour circle bears zodiac signs. Since the Renaissance, grand globes like this have adorned libraries and cultural spaces, mirroring Earth's known geography and accompanied by celestial globes. Some such globes have been repurposed as bars.
