This soft rubber Air-Lock Grommet seal is used with an airlock in the lid of your fermentation vessel or brewing bucket.
The Air-Lock Grommet ensures the gas produced by the fermentation passes through the airlock and prevents air getting in.
The pink airlock grommet fits in a 15mm hole.
The hole in the grommet is designed to hold a standard airlock.
If you are drilling a hole in a plastic lid for this grommet, we would recommend using a 15mm spade bit.
