Rite in the Rain Weatherproof Hard Bound Cover Sketchbook Notebook, 6.25" x 8.5", Black Cover, Blank Page Pattern (No. 730F-LG)

Used for over a century to protect field work around the world, our hard-cover books are made to endure the onslaught of the elements as well as the slow, insidious passage of time. This same process is used to create our ridiculously tough Sketchbooks. The durable coated fabric cover protects your work from impact and weather. Rite in the Rain weather-resistant, archival-grade paper holds up through exposure to moisture and a lifetime in storage. No matter what you put your sketches through and no matter when you go back to enjoy them, what is drawn on Rite in the Rain will remain legible.

• WRITE IN THE RAIN: Write, draw, or color when wet by using any standard graphite pencil, non-water soluble colored pencil, crayon, oil pastel, or an all-weather pen. Standard ballpoints and permanent felt tip markers will work when paper is dry and won’t wash off when it gets wet. Water-based inks, paints, or markers will bead or wash off Rite in the Rain Paper once it gets wet.
• WEATHERPROOF PAPER: 160 pages / 80 sturdy blank white sheets per book. All-weather paper won’t turn to mush when wet and will repel water, sweat, grease, mud, and even survive the accidental laundry mishap. Make sure your book stays RIGHT in the Rain. Paper is 32# bond weight.
• COVER / BINDING: Everything in this bound book is designed so you can enjoy Mother Nature while surviving her wrath. The Fabrikoid cover, the Rite in the Rain Paper, the sewn-in pages, even the glue is weatherproof.
• TRAVEL JOURNAL: Looking for a sketchbook or travel journal you can trust to survive any adventure? This tough Bound Book allows you to capture and protect your treasured memories anywhere and in any condition.
• LAY FLAT: Despite being a ridiculously tough Bound Book, this Sketchbook’s binding is designed to open flatter than most bound books with sewn-in pages and carefully executed perforations.
• PERFORATED: Page removal is made easier with perforated sheets. But don’t worry, these perforations won’t cause your sheets to fall out on their own.
• ARCHIVAL: Rite in the Rain Paper is certified archival grade and will survive a lifetime in storage without degradation.
• RECYCLABILITY: Unlike synthetic waterproof paper, wood-based Rite in the Rain is completely recyclable. Please recycle Rite in the Rain as you would other office printer paper.
