As long as you know how to locate and connect that wire then you will save some money- if you don't know how to connect then we don't recommend this harness and you should purchase the harness that is about $40+ more that has built in adapter for that wire turn on. This harness only works with regular factory audio systems- if the factory audio system is the external amplified type like Infinity, Bose, Boston Acoustics, etc then this harness is not compatible.
