Ovation Mod TX Collection 4-String Acoustic-Electric Bass Guitar, Textured Black, Mid Depth body (B778TX-5)

Ovation’s Mod TX 4-String Bass features a solid spruce top with scalloped X-bracing for superior note definition. Its classic Mid-Depth cutaway composite body delivers balanced acoustic tone, and is comfortable to hold and play. Sound holes on the bass-string side of the instrument enhance lower-frequency projection. This bass also features a satin-finished maple neck and a black-stained rosewood fretboard. A full 34” scale delivers harmonically rich timbres across the instrument’s entire range. With its onboard compressor, both the OP-Pro preamp and the OCP-1K pickup provide control over the attack and sustain of every note.
