Compatibility: Designed for use with GM Generation IV & V V8 engines, this oil pressure gauge adapter is not compatible with Generation 3 engines.
Unique oil filter: The small-block V8 engines now require the use of a unique oil filter to function properly.
Easy installation: The EN-47971 adapter can be installed in place of the spin-on oil filter, allowing an existing oil pressure gauge to be attached for engine oil system diagnosis.
Engine pre-lubrication: The J-45299 Engine Pre-luber can also be attached to this adapter to pre-lubricate the engine before starting a replacement engine.
Vehicle compatibility: This oil pressure gauge adapter fits various models including Corvette, Camaro, Malibu, ATS, Corvette XLR-V, and STS-V 2006 and later Gen IV/Gen V V8 LGE engines.
