Maxxis Tomahawk Folding Mountain Bike Tire -Live4Bikes

The Maxxis Tomahawk Folding Mountain Bike Tire is a high-performance tire designed for aggressive trail riding and enduro racing. Here are some of its key features:

1. Tread design: The Tomahawk has a tread design that features large, aggressive center knobs for fast-rolling performance on hardpack and loose terrain. The side knobs are beefy and squared off, providing exceptional grip and stability in corners and technical terrain.

2. 3C Maxx Terra compound: The tire features Maxxis' 3C Maxx Terra compound, which provides a balance of grip, durability, and rolling resistance. This compound features a harder base layer for improved durability and a softer outer layer for better cornering grip.

3. EXO protection: The Tomahawk also features Maxxis' EXO protection technology, which provides enhanced puncture resistance and abrasion resistance. This makes the tire more durable and resistant to cuts and punctures, while still maintaining a lightweight design.

4. Tubeless ready: The Tomahawk is tubeless ready, which means it can be run without an inner tube. This reduces the risk of pinch flats and provides a smoother ride.

5. Wide range of sizes: The Tomahawk is available in a range of sizes, including 27.5" and 29" diameters, and in widths ranging from 2.3" to 2.5". This makes it easy to find the right size tire for your bike and riding style.

6. Compatibility: The Tomahawk is compatible with a range of wheel sizes and can be used as either a front or rear tire. It is also suitable for use on a variety of terrain types, including loose and technical terrain.

Overall, the Maxxis Tomahawk Folding Mountain Bike Tire is a top choice for aggressive trail riding and enduro racing. Its tread design, 3C Maxx Terra compound, EXO protection technology, tubeless compatibility, range of sizes, and compatibility make it a popular choice among serious mountain bikers.
