Join our family-friendly seed balm workshop on scenic Amherst Island for a hands-on nature experience. Kids will craft wildflower 'seed balms' using organic compost and clay, including special pollinator-friendly and milkweed seeds. They'll learn about 'Guerilla Gardening' and how these creations restore natural habitats. The workshop includes all materials, a local honey tasting, refreshments, and a visit to our charming Wool Shed. Wear muddy clothes and bring a container for your creations. Our covered outdoor space offers shelter and a connection to our working sheep farm. Warm water is available for cleanup. Perfect for ferry travelers, the workshop ends with plenty of time to catch the noon ferry.
