- 6x9 Inch Vintage Hardcover Journal with 80 clean cut, EXTRA THICK pages (160 pages front and back). Great as a gratitude journal, prayer book, yoga or nature journal, field book, travel journal, daily journal, for poetry, sketchbook, or as a gift.
- Vintage, Handmade Paper - Tree-free, sustainable paper handmade from the Lokta bush which grows in the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal. Cuttings are cooked to a mashy pulp and spread by hand over boxed screens and set to dry in the Himalayan sunshine, making a tough, acid-free paper with a beautiful texture.
- Vegetable dyes made from cutch wood resin create the beautiful cover and black walnut husks make the dark brown at the binding.
- Lokta paper makes its way from the Nepali mountain villages to Kathmandu where it is sewn in the journal. Pages contain natural flecks and texture unique to the art of hand-crafted Lokta paper. Make it your own, and continue the journey!
- Thank you for supporting Nepalese artisans and preserving a 1,000-year-old Nepalese tradition of paper making by hand.
