- SOFT & SMOOTH FABRIC: This fabric is selected for its gentle feel against the skin, making it ideal for those with sensitive or delicate skin on their residual limb, enhancing overall comfort.
- MAINTAINS SHAPE OF LIMB: Graduated compression encourages the reshaping of the limb's soft tissues, assisting in creating a more symmetrical and streamlined limb contour.
- SILICONE BAND: Helps ensure the shrinker stays securely in position on the residual limb. Not only aids in shaping the limb for prosthetic fitting but also minimizes the risk of skin folds.
- GENLTE ON SKIN: Prosthetic shrinkers help prevent contractures by providing gentle but consistent pressure, which encourages the maintenance of a flexible and adaptive residual limb.
- FLAT DISTAL SEAM: A flat distal seam reduces friction and irritation against the residual limb, minimizing the risk of chafing, pressure sores, or abrasions, which is crucial for fragile skin.
- USES: Prosthetic shrinkers serve several important uses in the field of prosthetic care. Here are their primary uses: post-amputation limb shaping, edema management, improving prosthetic fit, skin protection, enhanced skin protection, pain management, etc.
