- Size: Outer Diameter: 3.19 inch. Inner Diameter: 2 inch. Thickness: 0.04 inch (Note: Please measure the size of the downlight mounting holes and the ceiling CUTOUT before purchasing. Then select the right size based on the actual inner and outer diameters of the Goof ring.)
- Advantage: This goof ring is made of good-quality steel, making it more durable, thinner, and stronger than ordinary plastic cover rings. This trim ring overlay sits flush against the ceiling in between the drywall and the recessed light, providing a reliable and convenient solution for concealing mounting hole gaps for recessed downlights and spotlights.
- Application: This Trim Ring is a lamp hole replenish ring, primarily used to hide mounting hole gaps in downlights and spotlights. By using this matte white finish trim ring, you can achieve a seamless appearance on your ceiling, similar to adding spacers to LED lights. It effectively covers any imperfections such as torn drywall, damaged areas, mis-cuts, or oversized holes, giving your ceiling a clean and tidy finish.
- Guidance: To select the appropriate goof ring for recessed lights, ensure that the inner diameter of the goof ring perfectly matches the light's installation dimensions (You can refer to the recommended cutout size provided by the lighting manufacturer or measure the actual installation dimensions of the can light). The inner diameter of the goof ring should be slightly larger than the opening size of the downlight.
- Easy Installation - This goof ring easily slips onto the back of your recessed light and fits between the downlights and the ceiling drywall to hide unsightly gaps. No tools are required for installation.
