- BIODEGRADABLE, NON-PLASTIC STRAWS: Our certified compostable straws are made of natural bamboo fiber that biodegrade outdoors or in compost bins in ~12-16 months. Rest assured they’ll safely return to earth without harming local plants & wildlife!
- DURABLE, NON-SOGGY: EcoPreps’ unwrapped plant-based straws can be left in drinks for two weeks without turning soggy or breaking down. They won’t dissolve, add flavor, or crack and peel while drinking – perfect for everyday use and week-long events.
- FOR WARM AND COLD BEVERAGE: Bamboo fiber drinking straws last in both frozen cold & warm drinks (-5 to 175 °F). Suitable for mildly hot or cold beverages like coffee, smoothies, juices, tea, etc. but NOT to be used in boiling hot liquids >175°F.
- NATURAL, SAFE, NON-TOXIC: Plastic/PLA-Free, PFAS-Free, BPA-Free, Gluten-Free – bamboo plant fiber-derived, sustainable straws are food grade and TUV tested AGAINST microplastics (and PLA), so they’re safer for you, your family, and the environment.
- SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING: Our 150-pack disposable bamboo straws (7.8” long, 0.24” in diameter) are packaged in recyclable brown boxes made from recycled paper. We use completely sustainable materials for both our straw products and paper packaging.
- ETHICAL, FAMILY-OWNED: EcoPreps is an American minority, family-owned company with US-based Customer Support! Our bamboo products are ethically sourced from FSC Certified well-managed forests in Asia and distributed from our home in Michigan, USA.
- *CERTIFIED COMPOSTABLE: Our nonplastic straw meets all US/EU industrial compost standards ASTM D6400/EN 13432 (DIN CERTCO). Composting varies by regional conditions; some facilities in CA may NOT compost bamboo. Check with your local provider!
