Cream of Wheat is a classic breakfast cereal that has been a favorite of families for over a century.
Made from high-quality, finely ground red wheat, this warm, comforting breakfast provides a nutritious start to the day. Our cream of wheat is similar to grits but smoother in texture since it is made with ground wheat kernels instead of ground corn.
Cream of Wheat is easy to prepare. Whether you prefer it sweet with brown sugar and fruit, or savory with butter and salt, it will be good both ways!
With its rich, hearty flavor and satisfying texture, cream of wheat is a versatile cereal that can be enjoyed anytime and is a great way to fuel your body.
For a wholesome breakfast cereal combine 1 part of dry cream of wheat to 4 parts of water or non-dairy milk, add salt to taste and simmer on very low heat, stirring constantly, for about 5 minutes or until thickened. Enjoy with a little honey or maple syrup and some colorful fresh fruit.
*Note: This cream of wheat is a bit more coarse than store-bought products, but definitely more wholesome and tasty in our opinion ;-)
