DT Swiss Competition Black Spokes 14/15g Box of 100 are crafted with precision in Switzerland, where DT Swiss has been perfecting their craft for over 350 years. These spokes are made entirely in-house, ensuring top-notch quality and craftsmanship.
The DT Swiss Competition Black Spokes 14/15g Box of 100 are a versatile choice for cyclists of all levels. Whether you're commuting or competing in World Cup Downhill events, these spokes are a reliable option. The 14/15 gauge double butted design features a 1.8 mm thickness in the centre to reduce weight, while the ends are 2 mm thick for added strength.
DT Swiss uses a unique ultrasonic peening process to cold forge these spokes, enhancing the metal's strength. This method provides an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, making them stand out among butted spokes.
Key Features:
- Constructed from Swedish X5 stainless steel, custom blended for DT Swiss
- Nipple thread rolling preserves material grain, maximising strength and reducing thread failure
- Durable black finish achieved through electro-chemical treatment
- Weight: 382 grams for 64 x 264 mm length spokes, 2 mm thread
