Clipbox Tick Twister by O'TOM Tick Removal Tool 5 Colours

Clipbox Tick Twister by O'TOM Tick Removal Tool Pack of 3

Genuine O'Tom® Clipbox Tick Twister®

With its modern and functional design, the ClipBox Tick Twister® will accompany you everywhere! Available in 5 sparkling colors, the ClipBox will allow you to always have your tick removers within reach and never lose them and with its locking system, inspired by a carabiner, you can also hang it on a key ring, a backpack or a belt.

It is essential not to compress the body of the tick during removal, reducing the risk of saliva back-flow, which can lead to infections and/or allergies. Tweezers and other instruments exert pressure on the tick.

The shape of the O'Tom® Tick Twister® Tick Remover, designed by a veterinarian, considers the tick’s morphology. The tick’s mouthparts are covered with backwards-directed projections; this allows the tick to “anchor” in the skin. Pulling up on the tick, the spikes will rise and lock the mouth parts into the skin. The tick may break and leave parts in the skin, causing infection. By twisting motion, the spikes fold into the axis of rotation, and the tick is easily removed without traction, decreasing the risks of breaking the rostrum.

O'Tom® Tick Twister® hook removes ticks by rotation and not by pulling; among all instruments supposed to use rotation, it is the easiest to use because of its shape and size. Tick Twister® tick remover allows the user to hold the tick without compressing and removing it by twisting rather than pulling.

The O'Tom® Clipbox Tick Twister® has three different size hooks in the pack:
Large x 1
Small x 1
Micro x 1 (perfect for larvae and nymphs!)
