Beer Mug, Norman Rockwell, Christmas Carol, Merry Christmas Series No. 3, Saturday Evening Post, 1923, Earthenware, 1984, Vintage

On December 8, 1923, Norman Rockwell's "Christmas Carol" graced the cover of the Saturday Evening Post — two men playing instruments, a young boy mid-song, the whole scene radiating that particular warmth Rockwell captured better than anyone. Sixty years later, the Norman Rockwell Museum chose it as the third piece in their limited edition Merry Christmas Series, and it became exactly what it was meant to be: a collectible worth keeping.

This is that mug. Issued in 1984, it is a substantial earthenware piece — heavy in the hand, beautifully illustrated, and in excellent condition. The kind of thing that comes out every holiday season and earns its place on the bar cart or the shelf.

Whether you're a Norman Rockwell collector, a Saturday Evening Post enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates a well-made holiday piece with a real story behind it, this mug delivers.
