- Choose the Right Size: When selecting a size, consider your dog's neck circumference, the cone's width, and the shield's height to ensure complete wound coverage. The dog cone should extend beyond your dog’s mouth to prevent biting or reaching the wound. This inflatable dog collar for after surgery may not be suitable for dogs with long noses, legs, tails, or flexible breeds like Greyhounds
- Effective for Wound Protection: The detachable clear shield guard with a secure snap closure offers extra protection, preventing your dog from biting or licking wounds, sutures, or skin, aiding in faster healing and less stress. While this dog donut collar may not suitable for every situation, but it works wonderfully for many pets, providing a stress-free recovery. For optimal safety, we recommend supervising your dog initially to ensure they can’t reach the wound. A must-have for a smoother healing process
- Less Bumping into Everything: With its inflatable design, the dog donut collar after surgery offers full visibility and freedom of movement without the risk of bumping into furniture or walls. Say goodbye to the clumsy, restrictive traditional dog recovery collar
- Comfort for Your Pet's Recovery: Unlike the traditional "cone of shame for dogs," this dog surgical collar provides a comfortable cushioned design that your dog will soon tolerate, allowing them to sleep, eat, and move with ease. Ideal for dogs recovering from neutering, spaying, or minor injuries
- Care Instructions for the Cone and Shield: The soft materials are susceptible to damage if chewed. If your dog tries to chew, redirect their attention with treats or toys. Always check that the extender is upright and wrinkle-free to prevent access to the wound. Store the BARKLESS dog cone collar in a safe place when not in use to avoid punctures
- Tips: Some dogs may not be accustomed to wearing a dog inflatable neck collar around their neck, so it’s helpful to use treats to encourage them. Always supervise your pet while they’re wearing the elizabethan collar for dogs, as they may try to break free or chew on it if left unattended. Please put the strap side at the back of your dog's neck in case of biting incisions through the gap
