Aponogeton Henkelianus

Aponogeton Henkelianus is another bulb plant that is similar to Madagascariensis in appearance. However, this variety can be distinguished by solid green color throughout and narrower leaves. Not as readily available, this aquarium bulb adds beautiful texture to planted tanks when healthy. A solid pick for any aquascaper who loves unique aquatic plants.

Important Note: This listing includes a bulb that may or may not be sprouted at the time of purchase. Please ensure you are prepared to care for either option.

Provide a nutrient-rich substrate or supplement with root tabs to support this plant’s development. While most are relatively hardy, their leaves are fragile and should be handled with care to prevent tears. Start with moderate lighting, good water flow and CO2 injection if possible. Patience will be rewarded with this one!
